1. Security commitment
Card payment systems are provided by payment intermediaries (the ‘Payment Intermediaries’) legally licensed to operate in Vietnam. Accordingly, card payment security on the ShopCare Website complies with industry security standards.
2. Security rules
2.1. International and domestic card payment (internet banking) transaction policies comply with the Payment Intermediaries' security standards, including:
Customers' financial information is protected throughout transactions using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification provided by Trustwave.
International card number tokenization.
Financial and banking industry information security principles and regulations prescribed by the State Bank of Vietnam.
2.2. The ShopCare Website's payment transaction security policy applicable to Customers:
The ShopCare Website offers token storage that retains only encrypted strings supplied to the ShopCare Website by the Payment Intermediaries.
The ShopCare Website does not directly store customers' card details. Customer payment card information is secured by licensed Payment Intermediaries.
For international cards: Customer payment card information that could be used to initiate transactions is not stored in the ShopCare Website's systems. The Payment Intermediaries store and secure that information.
For domestic cards (internet banking), the ShopCare Website stores only the order code, transaction code, and bank name.
The ShopCare Website undertakes to strictly implement the necessary security measures for all payments made on the ShopCare Website.
